COOPER WEBB HA DECISO DI SALTARE WASHOUGAL!
Yamaha ha annunciato che Cooper Webb mancherà il prossimo round a Washougal National, Washington, a causa di un infortunio al ginocchio sinistro sostenuto nella seconda manche 450 lo scorso fine settimana a Millville, Minnesota. La decisione è stata presa dopo che Webb si è sottoposto a una valutazione medica questa settimana.
I dettagli esatti della lesione non sono stati resi noti, Webb ha dichiarato tramiteinstagram che è una lesione che in una “settimana” passerà e che spera di tornare per l’Unadilla.
“Sono sicuramente sconvolto da questa lesione al ginocchio. Stavo costruendo mache solide ogni gara, e un piccolo errore mi è costato notevolmente. Con quello successo, potrebbe essere molto peggio, e sono fortunato che sia un infortunio veloce. Sono costretto a perdere questo week end a Washougal, ma farò di tutto per riportare nuovamente questo ginocchio al meglio e spero di tornare indietro a Unadilla “.
Lucas Oil Pro Motocross è fermo per una settimana dopo Washougal, prima di tornare al round 10. La squadra fornirà ulteriori aggiornamenti prima di Unadilla.

COOPER WEBB RULED OUT FOR WASHOUGAL
Yamaha announced today that Cooper Webb will miss the upcoming Washougal National in Washougal, Washington, due to a left knee injury sustained in the second 450 moto last weekend in Millville, Minnesota. The decision was made after Webb underwent further medical evaluation this week.
While exact details of the injury were not disclosed, Webb said in a statement that it’s a “week-to-week” injury and that he hopes to be back for Unadilla.
“I’m definitely bummed about this knee injury. I was building some solid momentum each moto, and a very small mistake cost me significantly. With that being said, it could be much worse, and I’m fortunate this is a week-to-week deal. I’m forced to miss this weekend at Washougal, but I will be doing everything in my power to get this knee strong again and hopefully be back for Unadilla.”
Lucas Oil Pro Motocross is off for a week following Washougal, before returning for round 10. The team will provide further updates prior to Unadilla.
