Si parla di Imola ragazzi, e la prima cosa che ci viene in mente è quel famoso 1° Maggio 1994, ben 23 anni fa ci lasciava il miglior pilota i tutti i tempi della F1, AYRTON SENNA, erano le 14:17 quando l’auto di Ayrton andava ad impattare contro il muretto del Tamburello, così la Grande anima ci lasciava e il ricordo sarà sempre vivo con noi!
Così entriamo a presentarvi quello che nel 2018 sarà il GP del Mondiale Motocross 2018 nel circuito Enzo e Dino Ferrari.

MXGP Set to take place in Imola in 2018
(OTTOBIANO) Lombardia, Italia, 24 giugno 2017 – Oggi, dopo la conferenza stampa qualificata presso il GP della Lombardia, il Presidente Youthstream Giuseppe Luongo, il direttore FIM / CMS Tony Skillington, il Presidente della Federazione Italiana Giovanni Copioli e il presidente Formula Imola Uberto Selvatico Estense sono entrati in scena per annunciare un round del FIM Motocross World Championship che si terrà presso l’Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari nel 2018.
Youthstream e Formula Imola sono lieti di annunciare che il FIM Motocross World Championship si terrà presso l’Autodromo Internazionale di Enzo e Dino Ferrari alla data provvisoria del 29 e 30 settembre 2018, il GP finale della stagione 2018.
Imola è nata con il Motocross nel 1948 dove ospiterà corse internazionali di motocross fino al 1965. Dopo 70 anni il Campionato Mondiale FIM Motocross è tornato per un evento che avrà un enorme impatto sul Motocross nel suo complesso.
Giuseppe Luongo ha dichiarato: “Oggi abbiamo qualcosa di fantastico da annunciare. Siamo lieti di aver raggiunto un accordo con l’Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari” Imola “e portare il Motocross al tempio delle 2 e 4 ruote a Imola, è qualcosa di fantastico, questo aiuterà il nostro sport a crescere ancora di più e ci permette di presentare il nostro sport ad un pubblico più vasto grazie alle eccezionali infrastrutture e alla reputazione del circuito. Insieme pianificato l’organizzazione di un evento MXGP straordinario, vogliamo ringraziare il personale dell’autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari ‘Imola’ e in particolare il suo presidente, Uberto Selvatico Estense, per la fiducia che ha dimostrato verso la nostra azienda e il nostro sport “.
Formula Imola Presidente Uberto Selvatico Estense ha dichiarato: Siamo molto orgogliosi di questo annuncio. Abbiamo il motocross nel nostro DNA, faceva parte degli eventi di Imola dal 1948 al 1965 e 70 anni dalla sua prima gara e l’anno prossimo con questo ritorno. Tutto il pubblico e i media a Imola sono orgogliosi di tornare indietro sul Motocross. Sono sicuro che la sede sarà perfetta per ospitare il spettacolare FIM Motocross World Championship. La FIM è molto orgogliosa e molto eccitata di tutti i risultati raggiunti dal Campionato del Mondo di Motocross e sul suo programma. Ciò mostra i miglioramenti del Motocross. Questa è una nuova generazione di strutture e organizzazione.
Presidente della Federazione Italiana Giovanni Copioli: Lo staff di Imola è tutti amici che già ospitano grandi eventi. Sono una pietra miliare nello scenario italiano degli eventi. Hanno una grande professionalità, per loro il motocross è una grande sfida ma sono sicuro che possono soddisfare tutte le aspettative.

(OTTOBIANO) Lombardia, Italy, 24 June 2017 – Today after the qualifying press conference at the GP of Lombardia, Youthstream President Giuseppe Luongo, FIM/CMS Director Tony Skillington, President of the Italian Federation Giovanni Copioli and Formula Imola President Uberto Selvatico Estense were on stage to announce one round of the FIM Motocross World Championship will take place at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in 2018.
Youthstream and Formula Imola are pleased to announce the FIM Motocross World Championship will be held at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari on the provisional date of 29th and 30th September 2018, the final GP of the 2018 season.
Imola was born with Motocross in 1948 where it would host motocross international races until 1965. After 70 years the FIM Motocross World Championship is back for an event which will have a huge impact on Motocross as a whole.
Youthstream President Giuseppe Luongo said: “Today we have something fantastic to announce. We are delighted to have come to an agreement with the “Autodromo Internazionale ‘Enzo e Dino Ferrari’ Imola”, and to be bringing Motocross to the temple of 2 and 4 wheels in Imola is something fantastic, this will help our sport grow even more, and it enables us to present our sport to a wider public thanks to the circuit’s outstanding infrastructures and reputation. Together we plan to organize an extraordinary MXGP event, offering a unique show in Italy and the world. The FIM is very proud and very excited of all the achievements the Motocross World Championship has reached and about his program. This shows the improvements of Motocross. This is a new generation of facilities and organization.
President of Italian Federation Giovanni Copioli: The Staff at Imola are all friends and they already host great events. They are a milestone in the Italian scenario of events. They have a great professionalism, for them motocross is a big challenge but I’m sure they can satisfied all expectations.
