Mentre la stagione raggiunge il punto intermedio, il campionato mondiale FIM torna ad una gara di ‘casa’. Entrando con Michele Cervellin questo fine settimana, il Venuzuelano Anthony Rodriguez che rimpiazzerà Chihiro Notsuka sulla CRF250RW.
Ottobiano è una nuova pista sul calendario situata nel nord Italia. La pista è basata su sabbia ed è parte di un impianto motorsports molto grande che ospita dal go-kart fino al freestyle mx. Michele Cervellin ha avuto successo qui di recente quando ha preso il terzo posto complessivo nella classe MX2 durante i campionati nazionali di motocross italiani. Dopo l’infortunio con lacerazione del suo braccio in Russia, l’italiano si è concentrato sull’ottimizzazione e il suo secondo round di casa.
Fresco dal suo successo supercross AMA negli stati come privato, il 22enne Anthony Rodriguez sarà in gara per HRC a Ottobiano e Agueda sulla CRF250RW. Rodriguez si è trasferito negli Stati quando aveva 13 anni per inseguire il suo sogno e correre nel motocross professionale ma questa sarà la prima volta che partecipa nella serie GP e in Europa.

Ho girato ad Ottobiano recentemente nei campionati italiani e non è andata così male, così non vedo l’ora di vedere cosa posso fare qui questo fine settimana. Mi piace la pista, è molto sabbiosa e mi piace guidare li. Sto avendo un periodo difficile in questo momento della stagione. Mi sento come le ultime gare non sono andate veramente come dovrebbero andare. So che ho il potenziale per fare bene, quindi ho bisogno che tutti i fattori si riuniscano.

Sono così felice di avere avuto questa offerta, questa opportunità per correre in HRC nella serie MXGP. Sono stato in Europa nelle ultime settimane e ci siamo allenati, amo la moto e la squadra è professionale e facile per lavorare. Non vedo l’ora di vedere ciò che il futuro mi darà alla prima tornata di questo weekend. Sono così eccitato.

Siamo veramente ansiosi di Ottobiano perché non è solo una gara di casa per la squadra ma abbiamo anche Anthony Rodriguez a bordo con noi per i prossimi due turni. Ha girato in America ma è nuovo al campionato MXGP. Non vediamo l’ora di vedere cosa può fare.
Michele ha avuto una sfortuna in Russia con il braccio lacerato e fu costretto a sedersi fuori per la seconda gara. E ‘stato focalizzato sull’affermarsi più forte per il suo secondo round di casa. Recentemente ha partecipato ai campionati italiani e ha ottenuto un ottimo risultato, quindi ci aspettiamo di fare bene qui.

New face for HRC MX2
As the season reaches its halfway point, the FIM world championship heads back to a ‘home’ race for the team in Ottobiano. Joining Michele Cervellin this weekend, is Venuzuelan born Anthony Rodriguez who will be filling in for the injured Chihiro Notsuka on the CRF250RW.
Ottobiano is a new track on the calendar located in Northern Italy. The track is sand based and is part of a much larger motorsports facility which hosts everything from go-karting through to freestyle mx. Michele Cervellin had success here recently when he took third overall in the MX2 class of the Italian National motocross championships. After lacerating his arm in Russia, the Italian has been focused on getting fit again for his second home round of the year.
Fresh from his AMA supercross success in the states as a privateer, 22-year-old Anthony Rodriguez will be racing for HRC in Ottobiano and Agueda on the CRF250RW. Rodriguez moved to the states when he was 13 to chase his dream of racing professional motocross but this will be the first time he has raced in the MXGP series and in Europe.

I raced in Ottobiano recently in the Italian championships and didn’t do so bad there so I am looking forward to seeing what I can do there this weekend. I like the track it is very sandy which I enjoy riding in. I am having a difficult time at the moment in the season. I feel like the last few races have really not gone the way they should have. I know I have the potential to do well so I need it to just all come together.

I am just so happy to have been given this opportunity to race for HRC in the MXGP series. I have been in Europe over the last few weeks settling into it and I love the bike and the team are professional and easy to work with. I can’t wait to see what the future holds heading into my first round this weekend. I am so excited.

We are really looking forward to Ottobiano as not only is this a ‘home’ race for the team but we also have Anthony Rodriguez on-board with us for the next two rounds. He has been racing in America but is new to the MXGP championship. We are looking forward to seeing what he can do.
Michele had some rotten luck in Russia lacerating his arm and being forced to sit out the second race. He has been focused on getting stronger for his second home round. He has raced in the Italian championships here recently and had a good result so we will be expecting him to perform well here.
