Dopo diversi esami medici ieri sera e questa mattina, la HRC ha preso la decisione difficile di ritirare Tim Gajser dal GP di Francia. Questo è dovuto al dolore continuo che Tim sta vivendo mentre guida alla spalla.
Ora tornerà in Slovenia dove sarà sottoposto a esami iniziali che determineranno l’estensione del problema.
Team HRC ci terrà aggiornati con le informazioni che ancora una volta diventano indispensabili.
Tim Gajser ha detto: “non posso esprimere quanto sono deluso che non sono in grado di correre oggi. Non è mia natura rinunciare e prometto a tutti i miei tifosi che tornerò più forte quanto prima.”
Roger Harvey, Direttore Generale di HRC: questa è una decisione che non abbiamo preso facilmente ma abbiamo seguito consigli medici e siamo stati costretti a ritirare Tim da questo GP. Ovviamente, la sicurezza dei piloti è fondamentale per la HRC e abbiamo dovuto considerare di mettere Tim a riposo dopo aver visto che non ha lottato nella gara di qualificazione di ieri.

Following several medical examinations last night and this morning, HRC have made the difficult decision to withdraw Tim Gajser from the GP of France. This is due to the ongoing pain Tim is experiencing whilst riding, in his shoulder.
He will now return to Slovenia where he will undergo initial examinations which will determine the extent of the problem.
Team HRC will keep you updated with information once more becomes available.
Tim Gajser said: I can not express how disappointed I am at not being able to ride today. It is not in my nature to give up and I promise all my fans that I will be back and stronger as soon as possible.
Roger Harvey, HRC General Manager: This is not a decision we have made easily but we have followed medical advice and been forced to withdraw Tim from this GP. Obviously, rider safety is paramount to HRC and we had to consider Tim well being after seeing that he struggled in yesterday’s qualifying race.
