Circuito di Monster Energy Pro Cianciarulo e Savatgy di Kawasaki in Top 10 in Stadio MetLife
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (30 aprile 2017) – Pro Circuit di Monster Energy Adam Cianciarulo e Joey Savatgy di Kawasaki hanno raggiunto le prime 10 finali al penultimo round del campionato EST 250SX, terminando rispettivamente in quarta e ottava. Con un solo turno, Savatgy è a un solo punto dal leader, mentre Cianciarulo è quarto e 14 punti.
Per Cianciarulo, la sera è iniziata bene e ha raccolto la sua terza vittoria di heat della stagione. Era pronto per la caduta del cancello nell’evento principale e afferrò il suo terzo holeshot della stagione. Cianciarulo è andato bene, ma ha perso alcune posizioni prima della bandiera a scacchi dove ha finito appena fuori dal podio in quarta posizione.
“La giornata è iniziata abbastanza bene e sono sempre felice di ottenere una vittoria di gara in quali”, ha detto Cianciarulo. “Vorrei davvero essere stato in grado di mantenere il vantaggio, ma la pista era difficile e c’erano delle sezioni che se non riuscivo ad interpretarle bene, ho perso tempo. Ho ancora un altro round per ottenere la seconda vittoria e cercheremo di essere più duri “.
Savatgy era concentrato e pronto ad affrontare la pista dura nel New Jersey. Ha terminato quarto nella sua gara di quali e ha iniziato bene nell’evento principale. Dopo essere salito in terza posizione, Savatgy è andato giù, ma è tornato rapidamente. Ha attraversato la linea in terza posizione, ma alla fine è stato valutato un errore nel rientrare ed è stato retrocesso all’ottavo. Con il suo calibro di dimensioni decenti entrando nel turno, si trova solo ad un punto fuori dalla testa con il turno finale che si svolgerà il prossimo fine settimana a Las Vegas.
“Non mi arrendo e dopo aver perduto appena l’anno scorso, non scenderò senza combattere” dice Savatgy. “Questa settimana, teniamo le nostre teste giù e lavoriamo sodo per venire a Las Vegas al meglio”.

Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Cianciarulo and Savatgy Finish in Top-10 at MetLife Stadium
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (April 30, 2017) – Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Adam Cianciarulo and Joey Savatgy both attained top-10 finishes at the penultimate round of the Eastern Regional 250SX championship, ending the night fourth and eighth, respectively. With only one round remaining, Savatgy is just one point off the leader, while Cianciarulo is fourth and 14 points out.
For Cianciarulo, the night started out right as he collected his third heat-race win of the season. He was ready for the gate drop in the main event and grabbed his third holeshot of the season. Cianciarulo was riding well, but forfeited a few spots before the checkered flag where he ended up finishing just off the podium in fourth.
“The day started pretty good and I’m always happy to get a heat race win,” said Cianciarulo. “I really wish I was able to hold on to the lead in the main, but the track was tricky and there were certain sections that if you didn’t get it just right, you lost time. I have one more round to get that second win and we’ll be trying our hardest.”
Savatgy was focused and ready to tackle the tough track in New Jersey. He finished fourth in his heat race and started well in the main event. After settling into third, Savatgy went down, but remounted quickly. He crossed the line in third, but eventually was assessed a penalty and was pushed down to eighth. With his decent sized lead entering the round, he sits only one point out of the lead with the final round taking place next weekend in Las Vegas.
“I don’t give up and after barely losing last year, I won’t go down without a fight,” said Savatgy. “This week, we’ll keep our heads down and work hard to come to Las Vegas at our best.”
