Jeremy Seewer con Suzuki in 450 nelle stagioni 2018 e 2019
Il Team Suzuki World MX2 ha già confermato Jeremy Seewer per la stagione MX2 2017, ma ora il General Manager Stefan Everts e lo svizzero hanno firmato un accordo per le stagioni 2018 e 2019 in MXGP.
Seewer, che compirà 23 anni il prossimo anno, dovrà passare nella classe MXGP a causa del limite di età in MX2, ma entrambi Suzuki e Seewer sono entusiasti per il futuro.
Seewer ha avuto una stagione di grande successo quest’anno. Ha cominciato con il suo primo podio nel secondo GP della stagione in condizioni molto calde e difficili in Thailandia. Con 10 podi in 18 gare, ha dimostrato di essere un pilota molto consistente. Senza saltare un GP, Seewer ha messo la corona di Vice-Campione del Mondo MX2 due settimane fa a Glen Helen, in California.
Dal momento che Everts ha rilevato la squadra, ha lavorato a stretto contatto con i piloti e assistendoli in ogni modo possibile.
“Per me è stato davvero un piacere conoscere e lavorare con Stefan per il mio primo anno. Sapevo che avrei dovuto decidere per il mio futuro dopo aver lavorato insieme a lui. Tutto ha funzionato alla grande in questa stagione, vogliamo andare nella stessa direzione, mi sento bene in squadra così è stato chiaro per me stare con loro e che il mio futuro è con Suzuki “, ha detto Seewer.
Everts ha commentato: “Lavorare con Jeremy è stato un piacere, abbiamo un buon feeling e un buon spirito tra di noi. Abbiamo lo stesso obiettivo e la stessa ambizione. Sono molto contento che siamo riusciti a trovare un accordo con Jeremy per le stagioni ’18 e ’19 in MXGP. Si tratta di una fase importante della mia pianificazione per quello che voglio ottenere con il Factory Team Suzuki. “
‘The Legend’ ha sempre sottolineato l’importanza di trovare giovani talenti e li assiste nella loro strada sino alla classe MXGP. Ed è felice di poter prendere questa strada insieme al ’91’. “Jeremy ha una buona immagine ed è un fantastico ambasciatore per Suzuki. E ‘qualcosa con cui ci piace essere collegati”, Everts ha aggiunto.

Ma in primo luogo, la squadra Suzuki Mondiale MX2 e Jeremy Seewer affronteranno la stagione 2017 MX2 il prossimo anno con alcune grandi speranze dopo la stagione fruttuosa quest’anno. Dopo l’MXoN lo scorso fine settimana, # 91 rappresenterà Suzuki nella SMX prodce Cup l’8 ottobre nella Veltins Arena di Schalk,in Germania. Dopo ci vorrà del meritato riposo per recuperare e lentamente lavorare di nuovo sulla sua forma fisica per iniziare la sua preparazione invernale.

SEEWER TO STAY SUZUKI FOR 2018-2019 MXGP
Team Suzuki World MX2 has already confirmed Jeremy Seewer to stay for the 2017 MX2 season, but now General Manager Stefan Everts and the Swiss have signed a deal for the 2018 and 2019 MXGP seasons.
Seewer, who turns 23 next year, will have to move up to the MXGP class due to the age limit in MX2, but both Suzuki and Seewer are excited for the future.
Seewer had a very successful season this year. He started off with his first podium at the second GP of the season in very warm and tough conditions in Thailand. With 10 podiums in 18 rounds, he has proven to be a very consistent rider. Not missing one GP outing, Seewer put the crown on his season finishing as MX2 Vice-World Champion two weeks ago in Glen Helen, California.
Since Everts took over the team, he has been working closely together with the riders and assisting them in every way he can. “For me it actually was a pleasure to know and work with Stefan for my first year now. And I knew, I would decide about my future after working together with him. It all worked out great this season, we want to go in the same direction, I feel good in the team so it was clear for me that I wanted to stay with them and that my future was with Suzuki,” said Seewer.
Everts commented: “Working with Jeremy has been a pleasure, we have a good feeling and a good spirit between us. We have the same goal and same ambition. I’m very pleased that we could come to an agreement with Jeremy for the ’18 and ’19 MXGP seasons. It’s an important phase of my planning for what I want to achieve with the Suzuki Factory Team.”
‘The Legend’ has always stressed the importance of finding young talent and assisting them on their road to the MXGP class. And he is happy that he can take this road together with ‘91’. “Jeremy has a very good image and he is a fantastic ambassador for Suzuki. He is something we like to be connected with,” Everts added.
But first, Team Suzuki World MX2 and Jeremy Seewer will tackle the 2017 MX2 season next year with some high hopes after the fruitful season this year. After the MXoN last weekend, #91 will represent Suzuki at the SMX Manufactures Cup on October 8th in the Veltins Arena in Schalk, Germany. After that he will take some well-deserved time off to recover and slowly work again on his physical fitness to start-up his winter training.
