ROCZEN & RCH SUZUKI DOMINATE AT REDBUD MX
Ken Roczen e Broc Tickle continuano l’assalto con RCH Suzuki Factory Racing nel campionato Lucas Oil Pro Motocross con primo e terzo posto, rispettivamente, Sabato Redbud National a Buchanan, Michigan.
Soaring Eagle / Jimmy John / Suzuki Factory Racing RM-Z450 il pilota Roczen ha segnato un altro impeccabile 1-1 durante il fine settimana ‘annuale’ Independence Day ‘ nella serie e guadagna la sua sesta vittoria complessiva nelle gare, mentre Tickle ha registrato un 4-3 e torna a casa con il terzo posto assoluto per la seconda settimana di fila.
Quarta volta consecutiva 1-1 assoluto e per Roczen è la quinta in sei gare che ha permesso al 22enne pilota tedesco di estendere il suo vantaggio in campionato a 53 punti su Eli Tomac. 2014 Campione di Motocross per il miglior inizio della sua carriera e il meglio per qualsiasi pilota da imbattuto nell’ outdoor come James Stewart nel 2008.
Ha detto Roczen: “Penso che la seconda manche avrebbe potuto essere la migliore che ho mai guidato per tutto l’anno. Sento che in sella alla mia moto e con la squadra si sta avendo un sacco di divertimento. Stiamo solo passando un buon periodo e facciamo le nostre cose. Mi sono sentito davvero bene oggi. Mi sentivo come se stessi guidando veramente bene così ho continuato ad essere coerente per tutto il tempo.
“Ho cambiato un paio di piccole cose, in prova, e non ero affatto contento nella prima manche. Ovviamente, ho avuto un buon vantaggio e ho vinto, ma ho detto al mio meccanico che non ero contento della moto. Ai miei occhi è stata la peggiore manche che abbia guidato tutto l’anno, per poi rifarmi letteralmente nella seconda manche con la manche migliore. Abbiamo appena fatto un piccolo cambiamento ed è stato pazzesco. Credo di essere solo molto sensibile a questo e semplicemente ho fatto una grande differenza. Abbiamo dovuto fare un rapido swap(cambiamento) del motore tra le manche. Il mio istinto mi ha detto che dovevamo mettere un nuovo motore e i ragazzi hanno fatto uno swap del motore e tutto ha funzionato bene. ”
Nel frattempo, Tickle ha raccolto punti nella caccia al titolo, dove ora siede al quinto posto in campionato. Il pilota veterano è spento per il suo miglior inizio dal 2012 quando era anche quinto in campionato al Round 6.
“E ‘impressionante ottenere un altro podio”, ha detto Tickle. “Lo scorso fine settimana ho davvero colpito bene. Ho avuto una buona settimana. L’obiettivo era un altro podio, non importa quello che è successo. Nella prima manche, ho voluto ottenere il terzo, ma sapevo che avrei potuto farlo nella seconda manche. Ho avuto una partenza decente nella seconda manche; quinto e si è trasferito al terzo e molto semplicemente ho caricato su Justin Barcia che stava lì per un po ‘. L’ho visto arrivare, ho risposto ed è finita. Sono solo entusiasta. Non posso ringraziare abbastanza la squadra Soaring / Jimmy John / Suzuki Factory Racing. Tutti hanno lavorato duramente. Sono entusiasta di dove sono a. E ‘una buona atmosfera e mi sento veramente bene in questo momento “.
Il campionato Lucas Oil Pro Motocross torna a Southwick questo fine settimana dopo un’assenza di due anni ed ufficialmente segna l’avvio della seconda metà del Campionato 2016 americano AMA Motocross.

Ken Roczen and Broc Tickle continued the RCH Suzuki Factory Racing assault on the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship with first and third places respectively in Saturday’s RedBud National in Buchanan, Michigan.
Soaring Eagle/ Jimmy John’s/ Suzuki Factory Racing RM-Z450 rider Roczen posted another flawless 1-1 finish during the series’ annual ‘Independence Day’ weekend to earn his sixth overall victory in as many races, while Tickle logged a 4-3 finish to come home third overall for the second week in a row.
Roczen’s fourth straight 1-1 finish and fifth in six races allowed the 22-year-old German rider to extend his championship lead to 53 points over Eli Tomac. The 2014 Pro Motocross champion is off to the best start of his career and the best for any rider since James Stewart’s undefeated outdoor campaign in 2008.
Said Roczen: “I think the second moto might have been the best I’ve ridden all year. I’m having a blast riding my bike and the team is having a lot of fun, too. We’re just having a good time and doing our thing. I felt really good today. I felt like I was riding really good so I just kept it consistent the whole time.
“I changed a couple of little things in practice and I wasn’t happy at all in the first moto. Obviously, I had a good lead and I won but I told my mechanic I wasn’t happy with the bike. In my eyes it went from the worst bike I’ve ridden all year to literally in the second moto, the best bike. We just made a tiny little change and it was crazy. I guess I’m just really sensitive to it and it just made that big of a difference. We actually had to do a quick little motor swap in between (motos). My gut told me we should put a new motor in and the guys did a motor swap and everything worked out good.”
Meanwhile, Tickle picked-up two more spots in the title chase where he now sits fifth in points. The veteran rider is off to his best start since 2012 when he was also fifth in points following Round 6.
“It’s awesome to get another podium,” said Tickle. “Last weekend really hit-it-off for me. I had a good week. The goal was another podium, no matter what happened. In the first moto, I wanted to get third but I knew I could do it in the second moto. I got a decent start in the second moto; fifth and moved into third and pretty-much just charged on. Justin Barcia was coming there for a little bit. I saw him coming, I responded and that’s pretty much how it ended. I’m just stoked. I can’t thank the Soaring Eagle/ Jimmy John’s/ Suzuki Factory Racing team enough. Everyone has been working hard. I’m stoked with where I’m at. It’s a good atmosphere and I feel really good right now.”
The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship returns to Southwick this weekend following a two-year absence and officially kicks-off the second half of the American 2016 AMA Motocross season.
