Oggi è andato dal medico Toon Claes in Belgio per fare una scansione alla sua schiena. Dopo la scansione, Claes consiglia di rimanere fuori dalla moto questo fine settimana per dare alla schiena un po ‘di riposo. Alla fine della prossima settimana, Aleksandr e il team decideranno se sarà possibile correre il Gran Premio di Germania l’8 Maggio 2016.

Nonostante il fatto che Tonkov non correrà questo fine settimana, sarà in pista per fare autografi. Tonkov si trova attualmente in quarta posizione nella classifica del Campionato del Mondo MX2 e ha segnato due podi in questa stagione.
