Clement Desalle up date
Clement Desalle, attualmente sta recuperando da un intervento chirurgico al braccio, si recherà in Qatar dove spera di competere la prova del Campionato del Mondo FIM MXGP apertura per il team Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing.
Le gare di pre-campionato sono sempre importanti per le squadre e piloti, che hanno bisogno di gare per prepararsi perfettamente per i primi Gran Premi della stagione, ma le corse a volte sono pericolose e gli infortuni fanno parte dello sport del motocross. Dopo un crash a metà febbraio a Valence Internazionale in Francia, Clement ha subito un intervento chirurgico dal dottor Claes in Belgio, e dopo otto giorni di terapia intensiva e di riabilitazione ha deciso, in collaborazione con la squadra e il suo medico, di recarsi in Qatar. Il piano è quello di fare le sessioni di prove, e poi decidere se può gareggiare o no al primo turno del Campionato del Mondo.
“Naturalmente abbiamo avuto lunghe discussioni con Clement e il dottor Claes”, ha spiegato il team manager KRT François Lemariey. “Clement ha un taglio netto, e il dottor Claes ritiene che è simile ad un infortunio alla clavicola e si può recuperare più velocemente del previsto. Ha fatto un po ‘di bicicletta in questo fine settimana, e sta lavorando tutti i giorni per recuperare. Egli guiderà le sessioni di prove e, a seconda di come si sente deciderà il risultato, ci sarà poi da decidere se o non correrà il GP. Non vi è alcuna pressione su tutte le parti, ma anche noi non vogliamo avere rimpianti in seguito; se è possibile per lui di correre in sicurezza, vogliamo solo raccogliere alcuni punti importanti per la serie nel corso dei primi due GP; forse questi punti saranno importanti alla fine del campionato.”
Il personale squadra è già a Doha per preparare la KX450F-SR del vice-campione. Il compagno di squadra Jordi Tixier si sta ancora riprendendo in Europa dal suo infortunio al polso.
Il Gran Premio del Qatar, il primo di diciotto gare del Campionato Mondiale FIM MXGP avrà luogo alla periferia di Doha, con sessioni di prove libere da Venerdì 26 e Sabato 27 gara sotto i riflettori di Losail Motocross Track.

Pre season races are always important for teams and riders, who need races to prepare perfectly for the first Grands Prix of the season, but racing is sometimes dangerous and injuries are part of the sport of motocross. After a crash mid February at the Valence International in France Clement underwent surgery by Doctor Claes in Belgium, and after eight days of intensive therapy and rehab he has decided, in collaboration with the team and his doctor, to travel to Qatar. The plan is to enter the practice sessions, and then decide if he can race or not at the first round of the World Championship.
“Of course we had long discussions with Clement and Doctor Claes,” explained KRT team manager François Lemariey. “Clement has a clean break, and Doctor Claes considers that it’s similar to a collarbone injury and he can recover faster than expected. He did some cycling this weekend, and is working daily to recover. He will ride the practice sessions and, depending on how he feels and the results, we will then decide whether or not he will race the GP. There is no pressure on any parties, but we also don’t want to have any regrets later; if it’s possible for him to race safely, we just want to collect some important points for the series during the first two GPs; maybe these points will be important at the end of the championship.”
The team staff is already in Doha to prepare the KX450F-SR of the multiple vice-champion. Teammate Jordi Tixier is still recovering in Europe from his wrist injury.
The Grand Prix of Qatar, first of eighteen rounds of the FIM MXGP World Championship will take place on the outskirts of Doha, with practice sessions on Friday 26th and races on Saturday 27th under the spotlights of the Losail Motocross Track.
