Ancora incerto il rientro per James Stewart in occasione della terza prova del Campionato AMA Monster Energy Sx di Anaheim 2 questo fine settimana. A dichiararlo è il Team Manager del Tem Yoshimura Suzuki Mike Webb.
Stewart risente ancora dei postumi della commozione cerebrale, rimediata nella caduta nel Main Event di Anaheim 1 dopo il contatto con Dungey. Nonostante l’ok del centro medico Asterisk, Stewart ha saltato la prova di San Diego perchè non si sentiva in piena forma dopo le prove libere. Per Anaheim 2, le condizioni di Stewart saranno valutate giorno dopo giorno e solo se sarà pienamente in forma, tornerà in gara.
Queste le parole del Team Manager Mike Webb:
“Siamo passati attraverso il processo con i test e li ha superati a pieni voti”. Ho parlato con i ragazzi medici dell’ Asterisk e mi hanno detto chiaramente che non c’era alcun problema con i test. Abbiamo lasciato a James la decisione di come si sarebbe sentito una volta che il sangue e l’adrenalina cominciavano a pompare. La prima sessione che andata, ma nella seconda sessione lui non era a suo agio. Non c’era modo di avere una possibilità con la sua salute.Vogliamo prendere un altro paio di giorni di recupero e poi provvederemo a farlo tornare sulla moto nel corso della settimana. ”

James Stewart Injury Update
Yoshimura Suzuki announced that James Stewart is day to day for Round 3 of Monster Energy Supercross at Anaheim on Saturday.
Team manager Mike Webb said: “We went through the process with the testing and he passed with flying colors. I talked with the Asterisk Medical guys and they said clearly there was no issue with the testing. We left it up to James to feel it out and tell us how he felt once the blood got pumping and the adrenalin gets going. The first session he was OK and picking up the track, but in the second session he just wasn’t comfortable. There was no way we were going to take a chance with his health. We want him to take a couple more days of recovery and we’ll get him back on the bike later in the week.”
