Ve lo avevamo accennato nella news sul Mercato Piloti, dove dichiaravamo la partenza di alcuni piloti dal Mondiale, come previsto l’ex pilota della Red Bull IceOne Husqvarna Todd Waters tornerà a correre in Australia nel 2016.

Infatti Todd Waters farà ritorno al motocross e supercross australiano nel 2016 dopo aver firmato con il nuovo look della squadra Wilson MX con il supporto di Suzuki factory.

Waters, 24 anni, ha corso MXGP negli ultimi due anni, evidenziato da un podio nel Gran Premio italiano di quest’anno a Maggiora, tornerà alla concorrenza Aussi con Suzuki il prossimo anno.

La mossa vede Suzuki tornare allo sport in veste ufficiale alla fine di quest’anno, Jay Foreman Racing avrà un coinvolgimento nello sviluppo RM-Z450 con le moto da corsa del team.

Wilson MX è impegnato nel Queensland da un certo numero di anni, con il supporto Penrite in MX1 / SX2 schierando Luke Wilson (motocross / supercross), Geran Stapleton (motocross / supercross), Jackson Richardson ( supercross) e Jake Williams (supercross).

Our media partner mxlarge.com have reported that Waters will make a stunning return to Australian motocross and supercross in 2016 after signing with the new-look Wilson MX team with factory Suzuki support.

Waters, 24, has raced MXGP for the past two years, highlighted by a podium finish in this year’s Italian grand prix at Maggiora, but will return to domestic competition and Suzuki next year.

The move sees Suzuki effectively backflip on its decision to exit the sport in an official capacity at the close of this year and it’s understood Jay Foreman Racing will have an involvement in developing the team’s RM-Z450 race bikes.

Wilson MX has been a high profile privateer effort out of Queensland for a number of years, most recently running with Penrite backing as an MX1/SX2 outfit fielding Luke Wilson (motocross/supercross), Geran Stapleton (motocross/supercross), Jackson Richardson (supercross) and Jake Williams (supercross).
