With the 2015 MXGP Of USA just a week away, seeing a handful of the entered American racers putting in motos on an early version of the Glen Helen Raceway course wasn’t really a surprise. But seeing Thomas Covington among the masses was, mostly since the penultimate round of the 2015 FIM Motocross World Championship takes place this weekend in Mexico. The American-born, European-based Monster Energy Kawasaki rider flew straight to California after the MXGP event in Assen a few weeks ago to spend time with the friends and family he’s left for a life on the worldwide series. We were able to snap an camera to Covington’s helmet before he headed onto the track a few laps before jetting off for the race weekend in Mexico.
