Team Australiano per il Motocross of Nations a Ernée, Francia, Motociclismo Australia (MA) ha annunciato durante il fine settimana che la squadra sarà composta da Todd Waters (MX1), Dean Ferris (Open) e Jay Wilson (MX2).
L’Australia invierà un team di tre uomini per competere contro i migliori piloti di motocross nel mondo e sarà determinata a registrare un miglioramento del risultato dopo aver terminato al di fuori dei primi 10 in classifica generale nel 2014, purtroppo, ma per ovvie ragioni legate allo scioglimento del team TwoTwo Motorsport, Chad Reed non sarà presente, ultimamente lo abbiamo visto girare con una Yamaha standard, quindi se sarà in blu non è dato ancora sapere e non avendo la moto pronta è inutile schierarsi.
Ma il Team Australia gode di altri ottimi piloti, dopo aver saltato l’anno scorso l’MXoN per infortunio, Husqvarna IceOne Racing Team Todd Waters torna nella classe MX1. Waters, che ha già rappresentato il suo paese nei MXoN 2012 e 2013, attualmente è 11 ° nel campionato del mondo MXGP.
Seduto proprio dietro Waters nella classe MXGP al 12° posto c’è il connazionale, Dean Ferris. Il pilota Wilvo Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing rappresenterà l’Australia nella classe Open e cercherà di ripetere la sua prestazione 2013 MXoN in cui è arrivato secondo assoluto nella classe MX2.
A completare la squadra australiana sarà JCR Yamaha Jay Wilson, che gareggerà nella classe MX2. Wilson attualmente guida il campionato MX2 nel National MX e farà la sua prima apparizione al MXoN con i colori australiani.

Team Australia at the 2015 Motocross of Nations in Ernee, France. Motorcycling Australia (MA) announced over the weekend that the team will consist of Todd Waters (MX1), Dean Ferris (Open) and Jay Wilson (MX2).
Australia will send a three-man team to compete against the best motocross riders in the world and will be determined to record an improved result after finishing outside the overall top 10 standings in 2014.
After missing last year’s MXoN through injury, Red Bull Husqvarna IceOne Racing Team rider Todd Waters returns to the green and gold in the MX1 class. Waters, who has previously represented his country in the 2012 and 2013 MXoN campaigns, currently sits 11th in the MXGP World Championship.
Sitting right behind Waters in the MXGP class in twelfth spot is Aussie compatriot, Dean Ferris. The Wilvo Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing rider will represent Australia in the Open class and will be looking for a repeat of his 2013 MXoN performance in which he finished second overall in the MX2 class.
Rounding out the Australian team will be JCR Yamaha rider Jay Wilson, who will compete in the MX2 class. Wilson currently leads the MX2 championship in the MX Nationals and will be making his first appearance at the MXoN in Australian colours.
