Yamaha Motor Europe è lieta di annunciare che Jeremy Van Horebeek rimarrà un pilota per il team Yamaha Factory Racing Yamalube per il FIM Motocross World Championship 2016. 

Il venticinque enne, belga è stato runner-up della serie 2014 MXGP e quest’anno è stato uno degli atleti più importanti del campionato da quando è tornato dopo aver fratturato un piede al quarto round nel mese di aprile. Van Horebeek ha continuato a sviluppare la YZ450FM e fa parte di un duo formidabile nella classe regina al fianco di Romain Febvre, che è anche in forza per l’equipaggio italiano per i prossimi due anni.

“Ho avuto l’idea nella mia mente per il prossimo anno, e sono stato in grado di concordare abbastanza rapidamente con la Yamaha ed è stato un accordo che avevo fatto nella mia mente molto tempo fa in realtà”, ha detto il vincitore del Gran Premio 2014. “Sono entusiasta che finalmente può essere annunciato. Il livello che ho raggiunto nel 2014 è tornato ma ho preso un lungo periodo di tempo. Stiamo lavorando duro ogni settimana e ora che siamo chiari per il 2016 si può iniziare a pensare alla prossima stagione già. ”

“Yamaha ha fatto un passo in avanti con alcune persone e più attivazione a quest’anno e vogliono mettere la società di nuovo ai vertici in molti modi”, ha aggiunto. “Penso che sia buona cosa che vogliono spingere di più e promuovere di più.”

“Siamo davvero contenti che Jeremy rimarrà nella squadra e parte della nostra struttura Yamaha per il 2016”, ha commentato Yamaha Motor Europe MX Direttore Erik Eggens. “Abbiamo avuto un grande anno nel 2014 e Jeremy è quasi tornanto a quel livello a partire dalla metà di questa stagione. Sappiamo tutti che Jeremy è uno dei migliori piloti del mondo, quando entra nel suo pieno potenziale. Credo che con Jeremy e Romain a bordo nella nostra squadra factory avrà una forte line-up per MXGP nel 2016. ”

Yamaha Motor Europe is pleased to announce that Jeremy Van Horebeek will remain a works rider for the Yamaha Factory Racing Yamalube team for the 2016 FIM Motocross World Championship.

The twenty-five year old Belgian was runner-up in the 2014 MXGP series and this year has been one of the leading athletes in the championship since returning from a broken foot at round four in April. Van Horebeek has continued to develop the YZ450FM and is part of a formidable duo in the premier class alongside Romain Febvre, who is also contracted to the Italian crew for the next two years.

“I had an idea in my mind for next year and was able to agree pretty quickly with Yamaha and it was an arrangement that I had made my mind up about quite a long time ago actually,” the Grand Prix winner said. “I’m stoked that finally it can be announced. The level that I reached in 2014 is coming back but it has taken a long time. We are working hard every week and now that we are clear for 2016 we can start to think about next season already.”

“Yamaha stepped it up with some different people and more activation this year and they want to put the company back at the top in many ways,” he added. “I think its good thing that they want to push harder and promote more.”
