The injury sidelined Herlings for the MXGP of Latvia, where he lost thirty-two points in the championship to second place Tim Gajser. Herlings now leads the championship by forty-six heading into the weekend.

Red Bull KTM confirmed via Twitter today that Jeffrey Herlings will return this weekend at the MXGP of Czech Republic, after suffering a gruesome finger injury at the MXGP of Sweden on July 6.
