Cianciarulo Lands On The Podium At Thunder Valley

Corona, Calif. (June 1, 2015) – The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki Team had a solid performance in Lakewood, CO. Adam Cianciarulo truly redeemed himself at Thunder Valley for an overall 3rd place finish. Joey Savatgy placed 14th for Thunder Valley, and right behind him was his teammate Chris Alldredge taking 15th.

Adam Cianciarulo had an excellent performance last weekend at Thunder Valley. In the Practice/Qualifying run, Adam had the 3rd fastest lap time behind fellow teammate Joey Savatgy. Adam took 5th in the Moto 1 race and in a hard fought battle during Moto 2, finished 4th.

When asked about todays results, here were his thoughts, “Its been a rough year.. I credit today to my team, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki, it’s not the third place, but it’s what it represents; what I’ve come back from and I’m stoked!” Adam moves his way up to the 4th spot in the Overall 250MX Championship Point Standings.

Joey Savatgy seemed to be ready to take on Thunder Valley, as he had the 2nd fastest lap time in the Practice/Qualifying run. Joey had crashed in Moto 1, however it was early enough to where he had time to catch up, finishing 7th. In Moto 2 he seemed to be in good position, until he had crashed again, pushing him back to finish 34th.

Joey took to twitter after the races and said, “Man. Crashing the first Moto and in the 2nd Moto…Im walking though.. Tough weekend, speed is def there. Just need to get off the gate.” Savatgy currently holds the 5th spot in the Overall 250MX Championship Point Standings.

Alldredge Wanting More
Chris Alldredge had the 6th fastest lap time in the Practice/Qualifying run. In Moto 1, he had finished 8th, right after teammate Joey Savatgy. In Moto 2, Chris crashed at the beginning of the race, ending 25th.

Chris had mentioned previously in a post race interview, “It’s a long series, we still have a lot more races, were going to try to go back and do some more testing and get back on that podium for the next one.” Chris stands at the top 10th spot in the Overall 250MX Championship Point Standings and he will take his positivity and good work ethic into next weekend to try and land another podium and stay within the top 10.
