A Hard Fought Battle At Glen Helen Raceway

Corona, Calif. (May 25, 2015) – It was a hard fought and competitive weekend for Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki riders Savatgy, Alldredge, and Ciacianrulo. Joey Savatgy was able to land on the podium for Moto 1 and 7th for Moto 2, finishing the weekend in the 4th slot. Chris Alldredge crashed in Moto 1 finishing 21st and 8th in Moto 2, for an overall finish of 14th for Glen Helen. Adam Ciacianrulo in Moto 1, collapsed into Alex Martin at the start, but was able to move his way up to a 12th finish, in Moto 2 he caught an edge in a switchback section causing him to finish 10th for the race and 11th overall for Glen Helen. |

Savatgy Working Hard to Make Podium
Joey Savatgy really showcased his skills and determination this weekend at Glen Helen Raceway. In Moto 1, Savatgy held off Jessy Nelson in a tough battle, to finish 3rd for a podium spot. Savatgy said, “To be able to put my Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki up her, it’s a great feeling.”In Moto 2, Joey was eager to make top 10 and push for points, where he ended in the 7th spot, right ahead of teammate Chris Alldredge. Joey Savatgy finished 4th overall for Glen Helen, placing him 4th in the Overall 250MX Championship Point Standings. |

Pure Perseverance
Chris Alldredge tried to maintain confidence from last weeks podium and persevere. In Moto 1, Alldredge crashed, which caused him to drop from a top 10 spot, to finishing 21st. In Moto 2 it was a close matchup with fellow teammate Joey Savatgy, as the two were neck and neck until Savatgy pulled ahead, putting Alldredge in an 8th slot finish.Chris commented, “I didn’t win and I’d like to win and were going to keep doing a lot to get that win.” Chris Alldredge finished 14th overall for Glen Helen and is now 6th for the Overall 250MX Championship Point Standings. |

Adams Determination
Adam Ciacianrulo’s determination was definitely shown in both Moto races. In Moto 1 at the start, he collided with Yamaha racer Alex Martin, pushing him to a dead last spot, however he pulled away with a 12th finish for that race. In Moto 2, he led the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team in the 6th spot right in front of both Savatgy and Alldredge, until he took a corner too tight in the switchback section, causing him to finish 10th.Adam had mentioned, “The recovery process has been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do even if I’m not upfront right away, I believe I have the speed and with the right team around me, I believe I will be.” Adam ended up finishing 11th overall for Glen Helen, placing him at 10th spot for the Overall 250MX Championship Point Standings. |
