Ryan Dungey estensione di due anni con KTM

Nei momenti dopo aver vinto per la sua seconda volta in carriera 450 SX Championship Sabato notte a Houston, KTM ha annunciato di aver firmato con Ryan Dungey una proroga di due anni che lo terrà in arancione fino alla fine del 2017. Questo in realtà non dovrebbe essere una sorpresa. Dungey ha fatto rivivere il marchio e KTM ha costruito una moto intorno a lui. Non hanno perso tempo facendo sapere che il loro campione non stava andando da nessuna parte.

“Sono estremamente felice che Ryan ha scelto di impegnare altri due anni al team Red Bull KTM,” spiega il Red Bull KTM team manager Roger De Coster. “Ho lavorato con Ryan per molti anni e posso onestamente dire che è è nella migliore forma della sua carriera in questo momento. Il livello di impegno che ha dimostrato il suo programma di allenamento in Florida, il nostro team di gara e verso lo sviluppo della KTM 450 SX-F moto da corsa ha fatto di lui un pilota che mostra il suo pieno potenziale. Ho fiducia che continuerà a questo livello per molti anni, la squadra ed io continueremo a lottare per dare a Ryan il miglior equipaggiamento possibile e il sostegno che merita. ”

Dungey ha aggiunto: “Non ho mai avuto un lavoro così a stretto contatto con la squadra corse per essere sicuro di avere la migliore moto ogni anno. La prova di quanto sia diventata grande la moto è scritto nei risultati di gara. Non avrei potuto chiedere una squadra migliore e di lavorare con loro. ”

Ryan Dungey Signs Two-Year Extension with KTM

Moments after he won his second career 450SX Championship Saturday night in Houston, KTM announced they have signed Ryan Dungey to a two-year extension that will keep him on orange through 2017. This really shouldn’t come as a surprise. Dungey has revived the brand and KTM has built a bike around him. They wasted little time letting it be known that their champ wasn’t going anywhere.

“I’m extremely happy that Ryan has chosen to commit another two years to the Red Bull KTM team,” explains Red Bull KTM team manager Roger De Coster. “I have worked with Ryan for many years and can honestly say he’s is in the best shape of his career right now. The level of commitment he has shown to his training program in Florida, our race team and toward the development of the KTM 450 SX-F race bike has made him a better racer showcasing his full potential. I trust he will continue performing at this level for several more years and the team and I will continue to strive to give Ryan the best possible equipment and the support he deserves.”

Dungey added: “I have never had a manufacturer work so closely with the racing team to make sure we have the best bike each year. The proof of how great the bike has become is written in the race results. I couldn’t ask for a better team and manufacturer to work for.”
