Ken Roczen Out per Houston
Ken Roczen rimarrà indisponibile per il turno di questo fine settimana al Monster Energy Supercross di Houston, RCH Racing ha annunciato oggi. Il 20-year-old è in ripresa da un infortunio alla caviglia ed è stato messo da parte dal round di Daytona. Roczen, insieme ai medici e insieme con RCH co-proprietario Carey Hart e Ricky Carmichael, hanno preso la decisione per Roczen di saltare anche questo fine settimana.

“Sono tornato in sella e ho fatto un sacco di cross training ma è una decisione difficile e io sono super-depresso che non correrò a Houston questo fine settimana”, ha spiegato Roczen. “Non vedo l’ora di tornare in pista, ma la squadra vuole assicurarsi che sia al 100 per cento. Non posso ringraziare Carey e Ricky abbastanza per tutto il loro supporto. Se qualcuno capisce che questo affare con le lesioni è duro da affrontare. Tutti i tifosi e i nostri sponsor sono stati impressionanti, quindi sono davvero grato per tutto il loro sostegno. ”

“Ken sta facendo progressi, ma non guarisce abbastanza rapidamente come noi avevamo inizialmente sperato”, ha detto Carmichael. “Abbiamo tutti pensato che potesse essere pronto per competere questo fine settimana, ma lui non è al 100 per cento ancora ed è lì che abbiamo bisogno di essere. Una volta che è completamente sano, possiamo andare avanti nelle gare. Tutti in Soaring Eagle, Jimmy Johns, Suzuki e tutto il resto dei nostri sponsor sono stati molto gentili nel corso di questo processo in modo che siamo fortunati ad avere aziende che sostengono RCH attraverso questo tipo di sfide. ”
Non ci sono attualmente calendario al suo ritorno.

Ken Roczen Out for Houston
Ken Roczen will remain sidelined for this weekend’s Monster Energy Supercross round in Houston, RCH Racing announced today. The 20-year-old has been nursing an ankle injury and has been sidelined since Daytona. Roczen, along with physicians and management team, along with RCH co-ower Cary Hart and Ricky Carmichael made the decision for Roczen to sit this weekend.
“I’m back on the bike and doing a ton of cross training but it’s a tough decision and I’m super-bummed that I won’t be racing in Houston this weekend,” explained Roczen. “I can’t wait to be back at the track but the team and I just want to make sure I am 100 percent. I can’t thank Carey and Ricky enough for all of their support. If anyone understands this business and how injuries can go, it’s those two. All the fans and our sponsors have been awesome so I’m really thankful for all their support, too.”
“Ken is making progress but not coming along quite as quickly as we had originally hoped,” said Carmichael. “We all thought he could be ready to compete this weekend but he’s just not 100 percent yet and that’s where we need him to be. Once he’s completely healthy, we can move forward to actual racing. Everybody at Soaring Eagle, Jimmy Johns, Suzuki and all the rest of our sponsors have been very gracious throughout this process so we’re fortunate to have companies who support RCH through these types of challenges.”
There is currently no timetable on his return.
