GRAN PREMIO DI THAILANDIA – DECISIONE DELLA DIREZIONE DI GARA

Funchal (Portogallo), 20 marzo 2015 – Domenica 8 Marzo 2015, al termine della prima gara MX2 del Gran Premio Thai Motocross, quattro piloti sono stati portati al centro medico per esami.

Tre di loro, # 1 Jordi Tixier, # 91 Jeremy Seewer e # 243 Tim Gajser, erano affetti da colpo di calore e disidratazione. I tre piloti sono stati dichiarati non idonei dal Chief Medical Officer e il Direttore Medico FIM e proibito di partecipare alla seconda gara in conformità con il FIM Codice Medico.

Durante la ricezione al trattamento, Jordi Tixier ha attaccato fisicamente il Chief Medical Officer FIM Direttore Medico. Questo è considerato un comportamento inaccettabile e violazione del Regolamento Motocross Mondiale del Campionato FIM.

La Direzione Gara ha chiesto un’udienza nel corso della quale Jordi Tixier ha ammesso i fatti.

La decisione della Direzione Gara è stata quella di imporre una multa di € 5’000.- nonché una sospensione di un mese a partire dall’8 marzo 2015 a Jordi Tixier, in conformità al Regolamento del Campionato del Mondo Motocross.

Nessun ricorso è stato presentato ai Commissari Sportivi FIM. La decisione della direzione di gara è definitiva.

Three of them, #1 Jordi Tixier, #91 Jeremy Seewer and #243 Tim Gajser, were suffering from heat stroke and dehydration. The three riders were declared unfit by the Chief Medical Officer and the FIM Medical Director and forbidden to take part in the second race in accordance with the FIM Medical Code.
FUNCHAL (Portugal), 20 March 2015 – On Sunday 8 March 2015, at the end of the first MX2 race of the Thai Motocross Grand Prix, four riders were taken to the medical centre for examination..

While receiving his treatment, Jordi Tixier physically attacked the Chief Medical Officer FIM Medical Director.  This  is  considered  unacceptable  behaviour  and  in  breach  of  the  FIM  Motocross  World Championship Regulations.

The Race Direction called for a hearing during which Jordi Tixier admitted the facts.

The decision of the Race Direction was to impose a fine of € 5,000.- as well as a suspension of one month starting from 8 March 2015 on Jordi Tixier, in accordance with the Motocross World Championship Regulations.

No appeal was lodged with the FIM Stewards. The decision of the Race direction is final.
