Alldredge, Bowers are going for it in Oakland for Round 4
Corona, Calif. (January 22, 2015) – Round 4 of the Monster Energy Supercross series stops in Oakland’s O.co Coliseum, with Tyler Bowers only 4 points from the red plate in the Western Region championship. Chris Alldredge is looking to continue his rookie season progress with his eye fixed on a podium finish.
Consistency
After the last round, Bowers said, “I got a terrible start and pulled some Houdini moves to get to the front quickly. It was good to be up front and now I just need to work on keeping the pace once I get there.” Bowers has been finished in the top 4 in every race so far this season. The obvious next step is to be on top of the podium and gain valuable championship points.
Rookie Improvement
“I got great starts and was upfront where I know I belong,” said Alldredge, speaking of his performance at Anaheim 2. “I proved to myself that I can run the pace. We’ll look to stay upfront for all 15 laps.” Alldredge had a big spill last weekend, but he is fully recovered and ready to combine another great start with consistent riding throughout the entire race in Oakland.
