US MXGP 2015: Red Bull KTM Factory ci saranno!

In una recente intervista rilasciata al direttore sportivo di KTM Pit Beirer ha messo in chiaro che i piloti Red Bull KTM Factory in america correranno l’ USGP 2015 se saranno in forma.  Ecco l’estratto dall’intervista:

MXlarge: Ti ho chiesto questo precedentemente, quando c’era un USGP e praticamente hai detto che i piloti in America non correrebbero l’ USGP. C’è qualche cambiamento per l’USGP 2015? Vedremo piloti come Dungey, Wilson, Musquine Hill correre l’ USGP a Glen Helen? (Si tratta di una settimana prima della MXoN in Francia, quindi una grande opportunità per loro di correre con i ragazzi europei euro e anche ottenere un vantaggio mentale).

Beirer: E ‘il piano in questo momento, sì. Vogliamo che corrano lì, ma non è in contratto e dipende anche dalla situazione. Se sono forti e in forma, allora saranno lì. I nostri piloti europei hanno contratti per correre i GP ed i nostri piloti americani sono impegnati a correre le gare AMA, ma abbiamo chiesto ai nostri piloti in America di essere sulla linea di partenza per il GP degli Stati Uniti. Se sono in forma saranno al cancelletto di partenza.

Quindi noi non solo vedremo Antonio Cairoli, Ryan Villopoto, Gautier Paulin, Clement Desalle e forse Jeffrey Herlings nella classe MXGP, ma anche i Top Rider KTM e (si spera) i piloti Husqvarna.

KTM Sports Director Pit Beirer has made it clear that the American based Red Bull KTM Factory riders will race the 2015 USGP if fit. In our exclusive interview with Beirer (see below) the former GP rider mentions how KTM (and more than likely Husqvarna) will field their factory riders. Here is one of the questions we asked Beirer.

MXlarge: I’ve asked you this before when there was a USGP and you pretty much said the riders in America wouldn’t run the USGP. Has that change for the 2015 USGP? Will we see riders like Dungey, Wilson, Musquin and Hill race the USGP at Glen Helen? (It is a week before the MXoN in France, so a great opportunity for them to race the euro guys and also get a mental advantage).

Beirer: It is the plan right now, yes. We want them to race there, but it isn’t in a contact and also depends on the situation. If they are strong and healthy, then they will be there. Our European riders are contracted to race GP and our American riders are contracted to race the AMA races, but we have asked our riders in America to be on the start line of the USGP. If they are fit they will be on the start gate of the USGP.

So we will not only see Antonio Cairoli, Ryan Villopoto, Gautier Paulin, Clement Desalle and maybe Jeffrey Herlings on the line in the MXGP class, but also the top KTM and (hopefully) Husqvarna riders.
