Una parola su WADA: Non nel comunicato stampa Yoshimura è questa: Un test positivo è un test di uso a sostanze positivo alla WADA. Essi stabiliscono espressamente che gli atleti utilizzano farmaci o sostanze vietate per motivi medici e sono tenuti ad ottenere un’esenzione a fini terapeutici (TUE) prima di fare sport. Molti farmaci sono a migliorare le prestazioni, ma WADA ha un sistema per permettere variazioni ai piloti che hanno bisogno di farmaci per ragioni mediche legittime.
Attualmente questa è la situazione riguardo la notifica per uso di sostanze proibite dalla WADA, il Team Yoshimura Suzuki e Stewart hanno divulgato il comunicato, rivelando in primis la situazione che affrontano, ponendo la massima fiducia in James Stewart e le precauzioni usate notificando alle autorità l’uso di determinati farmaci per recupero da infortunio, sicuramente la storia non è finita qui, se ci saranno approfondimenti li forniremo per dare la massima informazione sull’accaduto, noi crediamo nello sport e nei piloti!!!

Yoshimura Suzuki’s James Stewart Update
CHINO, CA (June 19, 2014) – Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing’s James Stewart has reported that he received notification from the FIM on June 17th, 2014 that a WADA test administered to him on April 12th, 2014, after the Seattle AMA/FIM Supercross, showed a positive result for a substance on the WADA 2014 Prohibited List. The medication in question is and has been prescribed to Stewart by his physician to treat a long-term condition.
Stewart, with the full support of Yoshimura Suzuki Racing, is willingly communicating with WADA and taking all appropriate steps to resolve this matter and plans to be at the starting gate at the Tennessee National in Blountville, TN on June 28th, 2014.
