Nagl torna in Germania!!!

Max Nagl fa un gradito ritorno dietro al cancelletto per il suo Gran Premio di casa a Teutschenthal, in Germania questo fine settimana.
Nagl non ha corso per il Team HRC fino ad ora perché si era infortunato in un incidente ad aprile durante dei test, ma salirà a bordo della sua Honda CRF450RW ancora una volta davanti ai suoi tifosi di casa.

Purtroppo, quando rientra un pilota, un altro è crudelmente escluso. Una stagione piena di sfortuna per Evgeny Bobryshev aggravata in Italia lo scorso fine settimana in cui ha sofferto le fratture di tibia e perone della gamba sinistra in un incidente di gara mentre era in quinta posizione.

Teutschenthal è una tappa che è sempre stata presente nel calendario GP Motocross fin dalla sua prima apparizione nel 1966. Il tracciato ha resistito a numeri test nel tempo e continua ad attrarre grandi folle attratte dalle colline ripide mescolate a sezioni strette e tortuose.

Le previsioni meteo dovrebbe essere di cielo sereno, con temperature che si aggirano intorno ai 20 gradi Celsius creando condizioni di gara ideali.

“In primo luogo sono davvero felice ed entusiasta di tornare di nuovo a correre, ma rientrare nel GP di casa mi rende ancora più felice. Conosco molto bene la pista e i tifosi mi aiuteranno a spingere un po’ di più. Il pubblico è molto vicino alla pista di Teutschenthal, si può veramente sentirlo e questo rende il GP molto speciale. Ho sempre corso buone gare qui quindi non vedo l’ora di correre. Avevo detto che non volevo tornare fino a quando non sarei stato in forma al 100 per cento ed ora purtroppo non sono ancora in questa situazione. La mano ci sta mettendo più tempo del previsto per recuperare e i medici hanno trovato qualcos’ altro appena una settimana fa scoprendo cosa mi sta dando un po’ di dolore. La scorsa settimana è stata difficile perché non ho potuto allenarmi molto, poi ho cominciato a sentirmi meglio fino a tornare in moto. Domani proverò a girare sul duro così vedrò come mi sento, ma credo che sarò ok, sono davvero impaziente di tornare a Teutschenthal. “

“Teutschenthal è una pista abbastanza difficile e può diventare molto impegnativo. E’ molto tecnico e allo stesso tempo ma molto spettacolare. E’ una grande gara per Max correre il suo Gran Premio di casa e, ovviamente, lui vuole fare bene. Siamo molto felici di accogliere il suo rientro. E ‘stata una sua scelta, come quando si sentiva pronto a tornare nella sua gara di casa dove ha tanto sostegno dai fans. Ha sempre avuto buoni risultati in questa pista, quindi stiamo sperando per il meglio, ma semplicemente un week-end sicuro senza ulteriori infortuni. Non stiamo mettendo alcun tipo di aspettativa su di lui, siamo solo interessati a farlo tornare in nel giro delle cose e valutare nuovamente la sua situazione dopo la gara in Germania. Purtroppo manca Bobby questo fine settimana dopo il suo infortunio in Italia lo scorso fine settimana, ma il suo intervento è andato bene e noi gli auguriamo un recupero completo e rapido.

Nagl returns in Germany

Max Nagl makes a welcome return to the MXGP grid for his home Grand Prix in Teutschenthal, Germany this weekend.
Nagl hasn’t featured for Team HRC since a crash in testing in April, but will climb aboard his Honda CRF450RW once more in front of his home fans.

Unfortunately as one rider returns, another is cruelly ruled out, as a season full of misfortune for Evgeny Bobryshev continued in Italy last weekend where he suffered fractures of his left tibia and fibula in a racing accident whilst in fifth position.

Teutschenthal has been ever-present on the Motocross Grand Prix calendar since its first appearance in 1966. The dirt-based venue has stood the test of time and continues to attract big crowds at a track featuring steep hills mixed with tight and twisty sections.

The weather forecast should be clear, with temperatures hovering around the low 20 degrees Celsius creating ideal racing conditions.

“Firstly I’m really happy and excited anyway to be returning to racing again, but the home GP makes it even more so. I know the track very well and the fans will help me push that little but extra. The crowds are really close to the track in Teutschenthal so you can really hear them and feel them which makes it very special. I’ve always had pretty good races there so I’m really looking forward to it. I had said that I didn’t want to come back until I‘m 100 per cent fit, which now unfortunately isn’t the situation. The hand is taking longer than expected to recover and they found something more just one week ago which is what is giving me a little pain. Last week it was hard as I couldn’t train much, but then it started feeling better so it’s possible to ride. I’m testi ng on hard-pack tomorrow so I’ll see how it feels then, but I think it will be ok so I’m just really looking forward to coming back in Teutschenthal.”

“Teutschenthal is quite a difficult track and it can get very rough. It’s very technical but very spectacular. It’s a big race for Max being his home grand prix and obviously he wants to do well, and we’re very happy to welcome him back. It was his choice as to when he felt ready to come back, and his home race was where he wanted to make his return as he has so much support and so many fans there. He’s always had good results at the track too, so we’re hoping for the best but just wanting a safe weekend. We’re putting no expectation on him whatsoever; we’re just keen to get him back into the swing of things and assess the situation again after Germany. Of course we’re unfortunately missing Bobby this weekend after his injury in Italy last weekend, but his surgery has gone w ell so we wish him a full and speedy recovery.”
