ELI TOMAC RITORNA A ST. LOUIS!
ST. LOUIS – di GEICO Honda Eli Tomac correrà nel Round 13 all’ Edwards Jones Dome questo Sabato, ritorna dopo aver saltato gli ultimi tre eventi.
“Ho davvero aspettato di essere allo stesso livello in cui ero all’inizio”, ha detto Tomac. “Certamente non è un dato di fatto, ma mi aspetto un sacco di cose da me, e spero di ottenere qualche altro podio prima della fine dell’anno.”
Tomac è arrivato secondo alla gara di supercross, a Indianapolis il 1 ° marzo, prima di aggravare un infortunio alla spalla a Daytona in Florida, è stato costretto a stare fuori tre gare.
“Sono riposato e pronto per le ultime cinque gare della stagione”, ha detto Tomac.“Ho pienamente recuperato, e onestamente mi sento meglio ora di quando ho fatto all’inizio della stagione.”
Tomac ha finito tre volte nella top-10 in cinque gare di Supercross in questa stagione, la sua prima stagione su una Honda CRF 450.
“Sono al 100 per cento e pronto ad andare in corsa”, ha detto Tomac. “Ho messo in un sacco di duro lavoro per tornare, in sella a quanto più possibile su queste ultime settimane. Abbiamo fatto un sacco di lavoro sul mio GEICO Honda, troppo, ed è proprio dove voglio.”

Tomac to Return at St. Louis
ST. LOUIS — GEICO Honda’s Eli Tomac will race in Round 13 at Edwards Jones Dome on Saturday, returning after missing the last three events.
“I really do expect to be at the same level where I was before,” Tomac said. “It certainly isn’t a given but I expect a lot out of myself, and I hope to get some more podiums before the year is out.”
Tomac finished second at his most recent supercross race, in Indianapolis on March 1, before aggravating a shoulder injury in Daytona, Fla., and being forced to sit out three races.
“I’m rested and ready for the last five races of the season,” Tomac said. “I’m fully recovered, and I honestly feel better now than when I did at the start of the season.”
Tomac has three top-10 finishes in five supercross races this season, his first on a 450 Honda CRF.
“I’m 100 percent and ready to go racing,” Tomac said. “I put in a lot of hard work to come back, riding as much as I can over these last few weeks. We’ve done a lot of work on my GEICO Honda, too, and it’s right where I want it.”
