Tyla Rattray è fuori dal Gran Premio del Qatar mentre lotta con la sua ferita alla mano. Il pilota del Team Red Bull Racing IceOne è probabile che perda anche i GP Thailandia e Brasile, per cercare di recuperare in tempo per la tappa europea della serie. Il sudafricano ha lottato per tutto il giorno Venerdì, finendo al 13 ° posto nella gara di qualificazione, ben al di sotto del suo vero potenziale.

“Penso che l’intervento avrà un minimo di 4 settimane di recupero. La mia forma fisica c’è e le moto pure, quindi devo vedere come mi sento passato l’intervento chirurgico e poi prendere la mia decisione di quando torno. Non vedevo l’ora che finisca il Qatar e la Thailandia, è un fiasco di sicuro. ”

Tyla Rattray is out of the Grand Prix of Qatar as he struggles with his hand injury. The Red Bull IceOne Racing Team rider will also likely miss Thailand and Brazil, and try and recover in time for the European leg of the series. The South African struggled all day Friday, finishing in 13th place in the qualification race, well below his true potential.

“Obviously fly back to Belgium and get surgery on it and come back when I am ready to race for GP wins. It wasn’t my fault the injury, I got hit by a rock at the Italian Championship. I am out of the championship now missing these first three rounds, but I will heal up and try and get back on track.

“I think the surgery will take a minimum of 4 weeks to recover. My fitness is there and the bikes good, so I have to see how I feel coming off the surgery and then make my decision when I come back. I was looking forward to Qatar and Thailand, so its a bummer for sure.”
