Un altro anno con Youthstream , la FIM e gli organizzatori riuniti a Monaco Domenica scorsa per iniziare a preparare la stagione 2013, che inizierà nel mese di febbraio con il Campionato del Mondo FIM Snowcross. In un ambiente molto positivo e costruttivo, Youthstream e FIM hanno spiegato tutte le novità per la prossima stagione e tutti gli organizzatori, provenienti da tutto il mondo, hanno presentato le loro sedi e le loro nuovi progetti …
Il Direttore Dott. Wolfgang Srb, FIM / CMS, si è concentrato sulle modifiche apportate al regolamento FIM 2013 e ha attraversato questi punti passo dopo passo, in modo che tutti i presenti sono stati aggiornati con tutte le ultime modifiche del regolamento.
Il Presidente Youthstream Sig. Giuseppe Luongo ha aperto la sessione col benvenuto a tutti gli organizzatori e dando uno speciale benvenuto ai rappresentanti presenti delle nuove sedi di Qatar, Maggiora, e Lausitzring. il Sig. Giuseppe Luongo ha spiegato a tutti l’obiettivo principale tra Youthstream e organizzatori per espandere ancora di più il FIM Motocross World Championship con copertura in Australia, Asia, Sud Africa e Stati Uniti, ma anche mantenendo i migliori organizzatori in Europa, che alla fine beneficeranno anche l’espansione della serie: “se vogliamo continuare a espanderci, dobbiamo seguire le economie in crescita, così come i mercati in crescita del motociclismo, ma non possiamo immaginare un Campionato Mondiale Motocross senza l’Europa.”
Il Signor Luongo ha spiegato che il mondo è cambiato molto negli ultimi anni ed ora è il momento giusto per fare alcuni cambiamenti per aiutare lo sport a crescere e svilupparsi ancora di più. Inoltre, il signor Luongo ha condiviso anche con tutti gli organizzatori l’esito della riunione che ha recentemente avuto con i produttori, FIM e le squadre, in cui si è discusso sul futuro di questo sport. Il Signor Luongo ha confermato che tutte le parti hanno convenuto sulla necessità di modernizzare il formato della serie e ha spiegato il nuovo formato per la gara del 2013 agli eventi d’oltremare e il futuro 2014 con formato di gara da finalizzare: “il formato di gara non è cambiato da circa 15 anni, ma lo sport si è evoluto e sviluppato molto. Dobbiamo fare la nostra serie più attraente e rendere lo spettacolo ancora migliore al fine di catturare l’attenzione di una nuova generazione di fans e le emittenti televisive importanti che non sono specializzate nel motorsport. Siamo già nel senso buono, quindi dobbiamo mantenere lo stesso principio, ma abbiamo bisogno di concentrarci sui dettagli per segnare una differenza e migliorare l’immagine del campionato. “Gli organizzatori sono stati estremamente soddisfatti con la nuova strategia e il formato di supporto con la direzione di Youthstream.
Una delle principali novità presentate nel corso della riunione agli organizzatori per la stagione 2013 è stata la diretta produzione televisiva ad alta definizione di tutta la serie promossa da Youthstream, che prenderà il via già nel mese di febbraio con la prima prova del FIM World Championship 2013 Snowcross. Inoltre, ci sarà anche un nuovo, più dinamico e di 26 minuti, di TV Magazine, che sarà prodotto dopo ogni Gran Premio e trasmesso in tutto il mondo subito dopo ogni evento.

Youthstream and FIM meet the 2013 organizers in Monaco

FUNCHAL (Portugal), 4 December 2012 – One more year Youthstream, the FIM and the organizers gathered together in Monaco last Sunday to start preparing the 2013 season, which will start in February with the FIM Snowcross World Championship. In a very positive and constructive atmosphere, Youthstream and FIM explained all the novelties for the upcoming season and all the organizers, coming from all over the world, presented their venues and their new projects for 2013.
Dr Wolfgang Srb, FIM/CMS director, focused on the modifications made to the 2013 FIM Regulations and went through these step by step so that everyone present were up to date with all latest rule changes.
Youthstream President Mr Giuseppe Luongo opened the session welcoming all the organizers and giving a special welcome to the representatives present of the new venues of Qatar, Maggiora, and Lausitzring. Mr Giuseppe Luongo explained to all the organizers Youthstream’s main goal to expand even more the FIM Motocross World Championship covering Australia, Asia, South Africa and the USA, but also keeping the best organizers in Europe, that in the end will also benefit from the expansion of the series: “if we want to keep expanding, we must follow the growing economies, as well as the motorcycling growing markets, but we can’t imagine a Motocross World Championship without Europe.”
Mr Luongo explained that the world had changed a lot in the last few years and it is now the right moment to make some changes to help the sport grow and develop even more. Besides, Mr Luongo also shared with all the organizers the outcome of the meeting he recently had with the FIM, manufacturers and teams, where they discussed about the future of the sport. Mr Luongo confirmed that all the parties agreed on the need of modernizing the format of the series and explained the new race format for the 2013 overseas events and the future 2014 race format to be finalized: “the race format hasn’t changed since about 15 years, but the sport has evolved and developed a lot. We must make our series more attractive and make the show even better in order to catch the attention of a new generation of fans and important TV broadcasters which are not specialized in motorsports. We are already in the good direction, so we must keep the same principle, but we need to focus on the details to mark the difference and improve the image of the championship.” The organizers were extremely pleased with the new strategy and format supporting Youthstream’s direction.
One of the main novelties presented at the organizers meeting for the 2013 season was the LIVE HD TV production of all the series promoted by Youthstream, which will start already in February with the first round of the 2013 FIM Snowcross World Championship. Besides, there will also be a new, more dynamic 26-minute TV magazine, which will be produced after each Grand Prix and broadcasted worldwide shortly after each event.
